Plastic is a threat to the planet. Although it is best to reduce the amount of plastic produced, it is necessary at present to recycle and reuse plastic so that it is not buried. PRAUDEN has developed an eco-friendly filling material called ‘GREENFILL’ which is a mixture of recycled polyester and RDS down. In order to maintain transparency in the recycling process and to convey trust, we have obtained RCS certification in recognition of meeting international recycled fiber standards – a first in Korea.
What is Recycled Claim Standard?
Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is an international textile certification granted to the brands sourcing from recycled materials, whose manufacture processes are tracked by an independent certifying body to guarantee that the recycled materials are used on a constant basis.
A buyer of RCS-certified product can assure that recycled materials were used to manufacture what s/he buys, meaning that awareness of using recycled materials is raised, use of recycled materials promoted, and less amount of wastes dumped, buried and/or incinerated.
RCS was developed in 2013 by Textile Exchange, a non-profit organization faring in the textile industry and joined Global Recycled Standard (GRS) to become one of the industry’s two major recycled materials certification.

Use of recycled materials ‘tracked’ for reliable certification
Use of recycled materials is tracked over the entire production cycle, referred to as ‘Chain of Custody’ by Textile Exchange, that cover sourcing, recycling, producing and sewing before these materials are made available to client companies. Either Transaction Certificate (TC) or Reclaimed Material Declaration Form (RMD) is issued for each of the above processes in the production cycle to prevent falsification of a single, process-level certification. Doing so ensures that an RCS-certified product is made of recycled materials only.
